We are currently seeking a committed, experienced, and results-driven Credit Officer who can bring both passion and professionalism to our lending services. This role is more than just processing loans—it’s about empowering members, understanding their needs, and helping them chart a better financial future.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Credit Officer at First Federal, you’ll play a key role in guiding members through one of the most important aspects of their financial journey: borrowing responsibly. You’ll assess loan applications, recommend solutions, and ensure each interaction reflects the warmth, integrity, and excellence our members have come to expect.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Engaging members to understand their goals and recommend suitable loan products
- Preparing and reviewing loan applications
- Communicating effectively with members throughout the loan process
- Ensuring compliance, accuracy, and completeness in all documentation
- Meeting monthly targets while delivering superior member service
- Promoting First Federal’s full suite of financial products and services

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- At minimum, an Associate Degree and credit certification
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Management, or a related field (an asset)
- At least two years of lending or credit-related experience in a financial institution
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication skills
